FIELD: ultra-fine grinding of coal.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes preliminary grinding of coal in shaft mill, separation of coal into fractions and grinding in centrifugal mills with grinding bodies; finely-dispersed fraction for grinding in centrifugal mill is taken from shaft mill by suction; micro-suspension of coal is subjected to activation and is injected into second grinding chamber with grinding balls of centrifugal mill where final grinding is performed together with coarse-dispersed fraction of preliminary grinding; in the course of activation, anti-pyrogenic and anti-coagulation agents in form of gas mixture are introduced into micro-suspension. Device for ultra-fine grinding of coal includes shaft mill and grinding chambers with grinding bodies; activator is mounted between two grinding chambers; housing of said activator is made in form of thin-walled tube with end flanges; located on outer surface of this tube is electromagnet; movable members of gas distributor are mounted between end flanges; they are made in form of split hollow cylinder with tangential slots tightly and movably mounted between end flanges by means of elastic couplings in form of circular compression spring; grinding chambers are provided with eccentric drive.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of grinding at required chemical activity in further burning.
