FIELD: railway transport; signaling and communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal control of traffic. According to proposed method supply source is connected in middle of rail line and parameters to be checked are compared with occupation and clearing thresholds at ends of line. Used as first parameter to be checked is ratio of voltage at input of first receiver to voltage at input of second receiver, and as second parameter to be checked, voltage at input of second receiver to voltage at input of first receiver. First and second additional thresholds are provided. Rail line is considered occupied when first check parameter is lower than occupation threshold, and clearing of rail line is recorded at the following conditions in turn: drop of first checked parameter lower than first additional threshold, drop of second checked parameter lower than second additional threshold and rise of second checked parameter over clearing threshold. Occupation threshold is equal to first checked parameter at application of standard shunt to place of connection of first receiver at minimum insulation resistance and maximum longitudinal asymmetry.
EFFECT: improved reliability of checking condition of rail lines.
