FIELD: railway transport signaling and communication; interval traffic control of trains.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, ac signal is applied to rail line at one end, and at other end phase of received signal is compared with threshold value. Rail line is considered occupied at displacement of shunt and rising of phase of received signal by not less than 20° at time interval not exceeding two hours and subsequent decreasing of phase of signal by not less than 30°. Rail line is considered clear at rising of phase of signal by 30° at time interval not exceeding three hours and subsequent decreasing of phase of signal by not less than 20°.
EFFECT: increased safety owing to higher reliability of checking of state of rail line at insulation resistance to 0.3 Ohm.km.
