FIELD: chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: method relies to identification and establishing origin of ethyl alcohol due to determination of character properties. Method is based detection and determination of trace amounts of organic matters by means of method of luminescent spectroscopy. The sign of belonging of ethyl alcohol sample to class of alcohols made of food raw materials has to be presence of trace amounts of luminescent aromatic amino acids of protein origin. Criterion of presence of micro impurities, determining the belonging, has to be the likeness of excitation spectrum of luminescence of sample to be tested and spectrum of excitation of luminescence, achieved due to averaging of representative sample of excitation luminescence of different samples of ethyl alcohol from food raw material. Value of deviation measure has to be quantitative characteristic of likeness of excitation spectrum of tested sample with averaged spectrum. Method provides truth of identification as high as 99,9995%.
