FIELD: manufacture of gear wheels with curvilinear teeth for gear transmission, namely with gear ratio equal to unit and for chevron arch type gearing.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of cutting teeth of gear wheel by means of cutting tool performing translation motion and rotation around its own axis crossing by right angle in space with rotation axis of blank and at their relative rectilinear motion in direction normal to rotation axis of blank. In order to enhance efficiency of process and to increase loading capability of gear wheels, curvilinear in lengthwise direction teeth are cut with variable inclination angle of line of teeth of two blanks of coaxially mounted gear wheels between which technological sleeve is arranged. Length of said sleeve is determined according to relation given in description of invention. Outer diameter of sleeve is less than diameter of recesses of teeth of gear wheels. Rotation of blank of gear wheel corresponds only to relative translation motion of tool.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process, increased loading capability of gear wheels.
