SUBSTANCE: according to method of transporting articles of different shape, line sequence of transfer elements is disposed in integral construction for as radial and angular shifts of transfer elements; transfer elements are disposed regularly along closed circle. Rotation of the closed circle is made under control. Damped surface of transfer elements id preliminary damped, them damped transfer element is shifted into reception area where line sequence of articles are formed. After line sequences are formed, electromagnet works and transfer element goes down to articles which stick to surface damped with water. After that articles from line sequence are turned for mount them onto common carrier due to lowering articles onto it. Device for orientation articles of different shape when transporting has Unit for receiving and transporting articles of line sequence is made in form of disc with ribs of rigidity, which are disposed above surface of disc at its end and in its central part. Flat elastic plates of transfer elements are disposed at top part of the ribs. Flat part of transfer element with damped surface is disposed at lower side of the disc at its surface. Elastic flat plate and flat part of transfer element are connected together through holes and groove which is made in plane of disc between two ribs of rigidity.
