FIELD: agriculture, in particular, plant growing.
SUBSTANCE: method involves wetting seeds one day before sowing for 15 min in warm (20-30 C) 0.02 M solution of praline amino acid; slightly drying seeds on screen in well ventilated room; after sowing procedure, providing pregermination slitting of winter crops by means of slitter; during initial thaw period, upon transition of daily average temperature past 5 C, treating young crop with aqueous solution of praline mixed with saccharose, said solution being prepared at the rate of 100 g of amino acid and 300 g of saccharose per 100 l of water, at liquid consumption of 50 l/hectare. Liquid sprayer is used for treatment of young crops.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in protecting of winter crops from excessive wetting.
