FIELD: railway transport; permanent way.

SUBSTANCE: is designed for fastening rails to reinforced-concrete, polymer concrete or composite underrail bases, such as ties, bars, plates, blocks, sills, etc. proposed rail fastening anchor has upper part located over underrail base. Upper part consists of two heads to form clamp units projecting over surface of underrail base at both sides from rail foot. Each head is provided with two brackets spaced along rail with surfaces for engagement with rail fastening clamp stress adjuster. Brackets are provided with ribs for engagement with insulating gasket of rail fastening. Each head has projections in head base for engagement with upper surface of underrail base. Lower part of anchor combining both heads consists of transfer section from head base to bridge, and two tailpieces pointed downwards. Each transfer section from head base to bridge from side of rail is made in form of combination of two sections, one of which is made in form of filler and the other, made curvilinear, changes into bridge.

EFFECT: improved serviceability of rail fastening anchor, elimination of stress concentrators at mechanical processing of anchor.
