FIELD: chemical industry; metallurgical industry; building materials industry; devices for the mineral melts discharge.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the device for the mineral melts discharge and maybe used in chemical, metallurgical industries and the building materials industry for effective discharge of the mineral and other melts from the smelting furnaces, in particular, at production of the various filaments possessing the heat-and sound-insulating properties. The device for the mineral melts discharge from the smelting furnaces contains the refractory rectangular unit mounted in the cavity of the body of the smelting furnace at the altitude of the level of the melt and having the lateral walls of the variable section in height expanding downward with formation of the free space in the central part for its preliminary filling-up with the mineral melt. The device also contains the open discharge chute mounted in the upper part of the refractory rectangular unit. The technical result of the invention ensures, that the effluent melt does not demand an additional heating and possesses the optimal viscosity for production of mineral fibers of the high quality.
