FIELD: vacuum processes for treating matters and materials.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of loading tray with layer of product into sealed chamber; evacuating gas out of chamber by means of vacuum pump; providing evaporation at residual pressure 4 - 8 kPa; agitating layer of product by vibration; heating product by means of infrared irradiation pulses till water boiling temperature at reduced pressure (30 - 50° C); realizing steam condensation by action of cold flow-through water. In order to optimize drying process, micro-controller operates according to predetermined control algorithm.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of ready product due to using controlled action upon raw material, possibility for keeping biologically active matters, reduced energy consumption.
