DEVICE FOR MULTIDIMENSIONAL REGISTRATION OF BIOLOGICAL POTENTIALS OF CILIARY MUSCLE AT ACCOMMODATION Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A61B3/10

Abstract RU 2281020 C1

FIELD: ophthalmology.

SUBSTANCE: device has transparent case on base of hard contact lens; there are four contacts on internal surface of the lens. Contacts have lead-away conductor at their external surface; contacts are disposed along horizontal and vertical meridians of eye in such a manner that any pair, formed by them, takes place in projection of contracting activity of specific type of muscle fibers of ciliary body. There are four lead-away areas at external surface of lens at its base along horizontal and vertical meridians of eye. Measuring contacts are made in form of sites disposed at base of lens. The contacts form four monolithic electro-conducting parts with lead-away sites. The parts are made in form of integral layer by means of electric vacuum deposition of metal. Parts which do not participate in direct contact with cornea of eye are isolated by medical glue exhibiting property of dielectric. Through hole is made at top base of lens.

EFFECT: widened functional abilities; improved comfort of research.
