FIELD: gyroscopes.
SUBSTANCE: dynamically adjusted gyro can be used in objects inertial control systems. Operation of gyro is based onto modulation principle, according to which principle the rotating part is suspended onto gas-dynamic supports. Sterns of supports are mounted onto cantilever at both sides of rotating part. Support surfaces of gas-dynamic supports are profiled with spiral-shaped grooves along loxodrome. Angular stiffness relates to parameters of support by ratio which provides balance of cantilever/gas-dynamic supports set.
EFFECT: reduced energy consumption; improved serviceability under vibration.
