FIELD: supports for gyroscopic instruments.

SUBSTANCE: proposed gas dynamic support has bush of radial bearing whose inner cylindrical working surfaces is provided with wear-resistance titanium nitride coat applied over titanium underlayer; outer working surface of shaft of radial bearing is additionally provided (in addition to titanium nitride coat) with wear-resistant diamond-like carbon coat applied over titanium underlayer; one of working surfaces of axial bearings has titanium nitride coat applied over titanium coat and other working surface is additionally provided with diamond-like carbon coat applied over titanium underlayer. Titanium nitride coat is applied on inner cylindrical working surface over titanium underlayer by ion bombardment method at acute angle relative to working surface; bush is rotated at constant velocity relative to axis of bearing hole.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability.
