FIELD: chemical industry and technology.
SUBSTANCE: method involves interaction of carbon dioxide with powder-like zinc that is carried out in the flow-type reactor. The process can be carried out at 380-400°C at carbon dioxide consumption 14 l/h, not less, and by using powdered zinc of fraction 45-100 mcm, or at 400-620°C with preliminary heating powder-liked zinc of fraction 100-315 mcm at the rate 1-10°C/min and at carbon dioxide consumption less 14 l/h. Invention provides enhancing output of the process preparing carbon monoxide by above 5 times, to increase the yield of product up to 99.66% and to improve utilization of zinc. Invention can be used for synthesis of different organic compounds.
