FIELD: valving.

SUBSTANCE: gate valve comprises housing composed of two interconnected housing members and ring interposed between the housing members. The space of the ring receives the slide valve and gearing rim that can rotate and cooperate with the driving shaft. The gearing rim is mounted in the space formed by the slide valve, intermediate ring, and housing members. The slide valve has step for permitting interaction with the gearing rim.

EFFECT: reduced metal consumption and enhanced reliability.
