FIELD: oil industry; chemistry; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and chemical engineering and can be used as a locking device on pipelines transporting oil or industrial water, as well as for shutting off channels of wellhead valves of fountains, pumping and injection wells during industrial oil production. Damper comprises a housing consisting of two half-cases, between which with possibility of rotation in its plane there is a gate with a through hole, with a cutout and with a gear rim interacting with a drive shaft. Separate sliding elements are arranged in the semi-bodies to get in contact with the damper along the outer plane of all sliding elements in its extreme positions and contacting the gate at its turn.
EFFECT: technical result is simplification of gate valve manufacturing.
