FIELD: valve industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to slide gates. Gate valve includes housing consisting of two interconnected half-cases, between which disc gate is located, and gear rim with internal teeth interacting with drive shaft-gear. Device differs from known analogues in that the disk gate is made in the form of a gear wheel, which diameter corresponds to the through hole diameter of the housing, gear rim with internal teeth is installed between half-cases, is rigidly connected to them and is engaged with disk gate, which is simultaneously engaged with drive shaft-gear.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reduction of dimensions and weight of gate valve.
