FIELD: measuring equipment, possible use for measuring polarization potential of constructions such as underground steel pipelines in zones of effect of wandering currents, on basis of which their protection from corrosion is realized.

SUBSTANCE: device for measuring polarization potential of metallic underground structure in zone of effect of wandering currents contains measuring device, connected to two comparison electrodes and through controlling and measuring station - to metallic underground structure. Measuring device is provided with system for collecting data, allowing to use wandering current as current source, and also with following, connected to it: autonomous power source, socket and blocks for controlling, indication, memory, while first input of measuring device is connected to controlling and measuring station, and its second and third inputs are connected respectively to first and second comparison electrodes.

EFFECT: decreased error during measurement of polarization potential in zones of effect of wandering currents, while simultaneously providing for comfortable and simple operations under field conditions.
