FIELD: autonomous robots-caretakers.
SUBSTANCE: radio-frequency and IR signals are irradiated simultaneously in the direction of autonomous robot when "call" button is pressed down onto control board. Mobile robot receives both signals and counts direction to control board on the base of location of IR beams receiver during receiving radio frequency signal. Then robot starts moving at the counted direction. According to the other version of device, ultrasonic and radio-frequency signals are irradiated simultaneously from remote control board and mobile robot calculates not only direction to remote control board but distance to it taking time between reception of radio-frequency and ultrasonic signals. Then it starts moving for calculated distance.
EFFECT: ability of directing robot at preset directions to specified area for taking care.
