FIELD: tire industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes solid support part, two stitchers secured for rotation, each being independently non-elastically connected and axially movably connected with solid-support part which is furnished with device for axle relative symmetrical movement of stitchers. Device is formed by one movable part arranged parallel to rod on which threads are cut symmetrically relative to its center with opposite lead pitch. Rod is connected with one end of supports for symmetrical movement of supports along rod controlled by servomotor for axial relative symmetrical displacement of stitchers. Stitchers are secured for rotation on other ends of supports. Axis of stitchers is parallel to axis or rotation of tire. Device contains means for setting solid support part in preset position by its movement in direction square to axis of rotation of raw tire. This means is formed by at least one movable part parallel to threaded rod connected with servomotor. Threaded rod, together with movable parts, is installed square to rod on which threads are cut symmetrically to its center with opposite lead pitch. Invention provides description of method using said device.
EFFECT: eliminated of air spaces in arm zones of tire, deformation of carcass fibers, provision of simple adjustment.
