FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making green tires. In compliance with this method, carcass workpiece made at forming drum and external workpiece formed at auxiliary drum are jointed together at assembly station. Proposed device comprises jointing device to be connected to auxiliary drum supporting external workpiece including breaker and tread band and forming drum supporting carcass workpiece including carcass layer and two ring fasteners, first displacing unit for connecting auxiliary drum with jointing devices, second displacing unit for connecting forming drum to jointing devices, and gripping assembly for removing external workpiece from auxiliary drum and placing it radially outward from carcass workpiece.
EFFECT: faster process, possibility to tread various types of tires.
