FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in cleaning systems of internal combustion engines. According to proposed method of cleaning of exhaust gases, humid air is delivered into combustion chamber of engine by head atomizing mixture of gas and water fog in space leading to engine combustion chamber. Ratio of components of gas and water fog in mixture is changed depending on change on engine load so that amount of water fog in said mixture is increased at increased of engine load to preset level at operation of engine at partial power, and amount of water fog is reduced in mixture when load on engine is reduced so that absolute amount of water increases at increase of load. Invention contains description of device for implementing the method.
EFFECT: increased economy and efficiency of cleaning.
