FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves determining patient age X1. It is set to 1 if the age is less than 40 years, 2 - 41-60 years, 3 - 61 year and older. Tumor growth pattern X2 is equal to 1 -nodular, 2 - mushroom-like, 3 flat. Tumor blood circulation resistance X3: 1 - low resistance, 2 - moderate resistance, 3 - high resistance. Tumor focus localization X4: 1 - equatorial and peripheral, 2 - central. Radiation complications probability Y1 is calculated as Y1=0.246X1+0.114X3+0.137X4-(0.349+ 0.13X2). If Y1≥0.5 early stage complications are predicted, Y1<0.5 - no complications caused by brachytherapy are to be predicted. Radiation response manifestation X1 is determined corresponding to values 1,2,3; early complications 1 - available ,0 - not available. Then late radiation complications probability is determined as Y2 = 0.321+0.078X1+0.243X2. Y2≥0.5, late complications caused by brachytherapy are to be predicted, Y2<0.5 no complications are to be predicted.
EFFECT: high accuracy of diagnosis.
