FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises determining the flow velocity and duty ration of pulses by measuring the time constant of heating and cooling of a platinum thin-film resistor placed on a dielectric diaphragm mounted on the silicon frame-base. The pause between pulses is used for determining temperature of the flow by measuring the resistance of the cold resistor.

EFFECT: reduced power consumption.
