FIELD: metal working, built-up cutting tools.
SUBSTANCE: cutting tip has two end portions, intermediate portion, axis crossing tip in lengthwise direction between two end portions, N lateral surfaces, N cutting edges formed on crossing of adjacent lateral surfaces at least of N additional cutting edges formed at least on one end portions, N cutting angles. At least one end portion is arranged, mainly in lengthwise direction from intermediate portion. Each cutting angle is formed between main cutting edge and additional cutting edge. Each additional cutting edge passes from respective cutting angle in direction from intermediate portion.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of usage of cutting tip material due to increased number of cutting edges.
