FIELD: laser medicine.

SUBSTANCE: laser medical apparatus can be used as for surgical and for therapeutic treatment due to irradiation of biological tissue by laser. Optical converter of laser medical apparatus is made in form of group of refracting prisms. Optical unit with laser diodes working in visible spectral range, optical unit with laser diodes for IR-red spectral range and optical converter are disposed in the same laser unit made in form of manual instrument. Removable optical instrument has one or several focusing washers which are attached to laser unit at the place where irradiation goes out. Optical converter can be also made in form of three refracting prisms; ribs of refracting double-faced angles of the prisms are oriented in parallel to each other. Optical unit with IR-red spectral range laser diodes is disposed in opposition to entrance face of first prism. Optical unit with visible range laser diodes is disposed in opposition to exit face of third prism. In this case, radiation of IR-red spectral range crosses refracting prisms, and visible spectral range radiation reflects from exit face of third prism.

EFFECT: improved power brightness of laser beam; ability of working with focused laser beam.
