FIELD: technology for measuring flow and volume of liquid, in particular, measuring of flow and volume of multi-phased liquid under conditions of pulsing flow, possible use at sewer station for measuring said parameters of sewage.
SUBSTANCE: working volume of chamber is distributed between two height indicators, which are fixed during calibration. Calibration is performed by means of standard ultrasound (or electromagnetic) flow meter - counter. Flow meter - counter is mounted only for the duration of calibration. Periodicity of calibration depends on chamber overgrowing speed. Sought volume of sewage during needed time span is determined as a total of working volumes for each certain cycle. Each cycle includes full filling of chamber with sewage and its full draining by pumps.
