FIELD: production of aluminum by electrolysis, namely device for limiting leakage of exhaust gases from aluminum cell.
SUBSTANCE: device for limiting leakage of gases from aluminum cell is provided with members for preventing gas leakage having pass through openings for insertion of anode tie rods. Device includes at least one holder that may embrace anode tie rod wholly or partially, at least one sealing flexible body arranged along the whole perimeter of holder or along part of perimeter. Said sealing flexible body is designed for closing the whole free space between inner edge of said opening and anode tie rod or only part of said space.
EFFECT: improved fluid-tightness of apparatuses for collecting exhaust gases in aluminum cells.
