METHOD FOR EVALUATING THE EFFICIENCY OF SANITIZING CHILDREN IN CHILDREN'S SUMMER SANITATION CENTERS Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A61B5/00 A61B10/00

Abstract RU 2295279 C1

FIELD: medicine, pediatrics, health resort treatment, rehabilitation, health care organization.

SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to measure the dynamics of the following criteria: body weight, dynamometry, spirometry and thoracic excursion and , moreover, one should take into consideration a child's sickness rate during staying in children's summer sanitation center. The criteria mentioned should be evaluated at the beginning and at the end of camp term. Dynamics of alterations in criteria under evaluation should be fulfilled by establishing "+1 point" in case of positive alteration of criteria, "0 points" - at no alterations; "-1 point" - in case of negative alteration of the criteria mentioned. Positive alterations of spirometric criterion correspond to increased vital capacity (VC) by 10% and more, and negative alterations - decreased VC by 10% and more. Positive alterations of criterion for thoracic excursion corresponds to increased thoracic excursion by 10% and more, and negative alterations - decreased thoracic excursion by 10% and more. It is important to determine total sum of points for the dynamics of all 5 criteria and at its value ranged +2 up to +5 one should state upon positive sanitation effect, at its value ranged 0 up to +1 - poorly manifested sanitation effect and at its value ranged -1 up to -5 - the absence of sanitation effect should be concluded. The innovation enables to determine sanitation effect not only for each child, but make conclusion upon the efficiency of sanitizing activity of sanitation establishment per a camp term and per a whole sanitation campaign.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of evaluation.
