FIELD: ecology; purification and decontamination of waste water.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes treatment of water-and-gas mixture by electric discharges in chamber equipped with dielectric membrane with holes which is located between upper electrode made in form of plate with metal insulated pointed rods secured on it and lower electrode made in form of metal plate with holes on which additional U-shaped electrode is mounted; branches of this electrode pass through holes in dielectric membrane. Treatment with electric discharges is performed at voltage of 700-900 V and frequency of 50 Hz fed to upper and lower electrodes; air is supplied for maintenance of air-to-water volume ratio of 2:1; air is supplied through branch pipe mounted under plate made from fine-pore material and mounted under lower electrode.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, reliability; increased rate of decontamination and purification of waste water.
