FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic flow meter comprises primary electromagnetic converter of flow rate that has magnetic system and pipelines with electrodes set in the space of the magnetic system. One of the pipelines together with the measuring circuit defines the measuring channel with constant flow rate thus providing the negative feedback together with the control circuit for control of the current supplied to the magnetic system. The feedback compensates the effect of the variation of the parameters of the fluid, magnetic system, and measuring circuit on the results of measurements. The measuring circuit comprises commutator of analogue signals, electrodes that are connected with the inputs of the commutator and arranged on the pipelines, analogue-digital converter, and microprocessor that controls the commutator. The control circuit comprises power source for the coils of the magnetic system and analogue-digital converter for supplying voltage to the input of the microprocessor after transformation of the power current by means of the measuring resister.
