SUBSTANCE: voltage proportional to the current and the voltage at the coils during the transient process are measured periodically through the coils of the electromagnet in the steady-state mode, while measuring the voltage during the transient process, the current in the coils is measured, which determines the voltage drop on the active resistance of the coils, and the inductance is determined based on the calculation of the voltage difference between the coils and their active resistance. The obtained value of inductance is compared with the preset reference value.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of controlling the presence of extraneous magnetic fields.
