SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a novel method for synthesis of some cyclopropyl carboxylic acid esters and other derivatives of cyclopropyl carboxylic acid of the general formula: (I): . Also, invention relates to a novel method for synthesis of dimethylsulfoxonium methylide and dimethylsulfonium methylide, using some cyclopropyl carboxylic acid esters, to a method for synthesis of intermediate compounds that can be used in synthesis of pharmaceutically active compounds and some intermediate compounds synthesized by these methods.
