FIELD: medicine, cardiology.
SUBSTANCE: one should register cardioelectric activity and analyze twelve standard ECG leads. Moreover, it is necessary to detect in time the probable distribution of QRS sector length and based upon the data obtained one should determine absolute entropy Sabs for twelve standard ECG leads by the following formula: Sabs = -Σplnp, where p - the probability of certain length of QRS sector, ln - natural logarithm of probability p, then it is important to detect maximal entropy Smax for the present number of observations where n=12 and relative entropy So due to dividing the value of absolute entropy Sabs to the value of maximal entropy Smax. Based upon the value obtained for the relative entropy one should detect the coefficient of excessiveness R=1-So, and at value R>0.5 while analyzing QRS sector one should detect the availability of acute coronary failure, at decreased R up to 0.3-0.4 for 3-4 d one should diagnose reversible form of acute coronary failure, at keeping R<0.5 of QRS sector for more than 3-4 d one should diagnose acute myocardial infarction. The innovation enables to diagnose pathological process at those ECG alterations at which the diagnostics of acute coronary events is complicated.
