FIELD: valving systems.
SUBSTANCE: gate valve comprises sectional housing with opening. The distance ring is interposed between the sections of the housing. The distance ring receives disk slide valve provided with opening and mounted for permitting rotation. The slide valve cooperates with the bearing surfaces of the housing through the thrust bearings. The bearings are made of contour sealing members, embrace the zone of interaction of the slide valve with the flow, and are mounted in the groove. The groove is made of the generatrix of a segment on one of the faces of the gate valve.
EFFECT: improved design.
