FIELD: optical telescopes.

SUBSTANCE: optical telescope, described in the invention, transforms images from IR spectrum range to visible range. Optical telescope has input objective, image intensity amplifier which has moisture-proof cylindrical case with entrance window, made of alternating metal and ceramic elements. Inside case micro-channel plate is mounted onto protrusion of metal element between GaAs photo-cathode and luminescent screen. There is a built-in power source connected with image intensity amplifier and disposed around cylindrical surface of fiber-optic member. Device also has exit eyepiece. Moisture-proof cylindrical case of image intensity amplifier is conjugated with fiber-optic element through solder. Solder is applied to edge ceramic members. Internal peripheral area of entrance window of image intensity amplifier is made in form of layer of light-absorbing material.

EFFECT: stabilized sensitivity of photo-cathode; prolonged service life; higher light load stability.
