FIELD: radio engineering; automatic location of mobile pieces of equipment.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system characterized in extended coverage of mobile pieces of equipment and enhanced precision of their location, as well as in its ability of controlling mobile equipment movement from control stations and subscribers' points functions to assign individual numbers to all pieces of mobile equipment liable to appear within its coverage which indicate their performance characteristics and operating capabilities; assigned in addition are general operating frequencies for radio channels used for data exchange between warning units of mobile pieces of equipment residing within system coverage, GNSS signal reception frequencies, and frequencies of systems for radio communications between mobile-equipment locating system entities; respective software incorporating data exchange algorithms, formats of messages being transferred, time intervals allocated for data exchange, and other required procedures along with above-mentioned ones are installed in all computer units of mobile equipment and receiving stations, in personal computers of control stations, data display stations, and central station.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, enhanced precision of mobile equipment location.
