FIELD: machine engineering, robotics, possibly realization of functions "take" and "mount" articles on working surface at loading, unloading main manufacturing equipment and also at placing and distributing, mainly flat articles.
SUBSTANCE: clamping head includes suction having body with sealing member and drive unit for linear motion of it. At least one lever is mounted on said body and it is joined with peripheral surface of sealing member. Lever has working portion protruding outside article size and directed to side of working surface with possibility of engaging with it when clamped article is being mounted and without engagement at clamping article. Working portion of lever may be jointly mounted and spring-loaded towards suction and it is kinematically coupled with suction with possibility of shifting said working portion from working position at releasing deformation of suction sealing member.
EFFECT: improved response, simplified design of vacuum clamping head.
