FIELD: production of chlorine dioxide.
SUBSTANCE: method of continuous production of chlorine dioxide includes diluting of sulfuric acid of initial concentration exceeding 90 mass-% with water; bringing diluted sulfuric acid to temperature below 100C, delivery of diluted sulfuric acid at temperature below 100C to reactor (5) through first supply nozzle (3); delivery of aqueous solution of alkaline metal chlorate and hydrogen peroxide to reactor (5) through second supply nozzle (4); bringing the alkaline metal chlorate in interaction with sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide for forming the product flow containing chlorine dioxide; extraction of product flow from reactor through outlet hole (7). First and second supply nozzles (3,4) are located in reactor (5) opposite each other.
EFFECT: reduction of chlorine dioxide decomposition.
