FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: in reaction vessel 1 sodium chlorite, sulfuric acid and reducing agent are supplied. Reaction results in formation of chlorine dioxide, sodium sulfate and other by-products. Circulation of reaction medium is carried out through filter 4. Chlorine dioxide-containing gas is discharged from reaction vessel 1 to cooler 5 and then to absorber 6. Chlorine dioxide-containing water, is supplied to column 7 for absorption of chlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce content of chlorinated dibenzo-p-dibenzofurans in technological flows.
