FIELD: metallurgy; methods of production of the manganese alloyed steel.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of metallurgy, in particular, to out-of-furnace thermal treatment of the steel with manganese. The method provides for realization of the steel smelting, the metallic melt tapping into the ladle, introduction into the metallic melt simultaneously of the oxide manganese-containing substance, aluminum and the flux. The oxide manganese-containing substance, aluminum and the flux are introduced continuously in the form of the substance with the density of (2.2-2.5)·102 m3/t of the preliminary granulated thermally treated and fluxed by the mixture of the aluminum and calcium oxides and the metallic aluminum starting its feeding with the maximum specific consumption after covering the bottom of the ladle with metallic melt and completing the feeding at filling up of the two-thirds of the ladle volume with the reduction during the feeding of the specific consumption of the substance straightly- proportionally to the intensity of the stirring action of the metallic melt by the incident spray. The invention ensures realization of the processes of the deoxidization, alloying and the desulphurization during the tapping of the metallic melt due to utilization of the kinetic energy of the incident spray resulting in the increased degree of the desulphurization at reduction of the duration of the treatment and conservation of the high degree of extraction of the manganese.
EFFECT: the invention ensures realization of the deoxidization, alloying and the desulphurization processes during the tapping of the metallic melt, the increased degree of the desulphurization at reduction of the time of the treatment, preservation of the high degree of the manganese extraction.
