FIELD: satellite radar system.
SUBSTANCE: according to method, radar unit placed into unit for controlling traffic lights at controlled crossroads, at controlled pedestrian crosswalk and at stationary post. Modes of operation of traffic lights are brought into synchronization with all satellite radar receivers. Parameters of time switching of traffic lights are memorized and malfunctions in traffic lights units are revealed. Radar unit of transportation vehicles is equipped with alarm buttons unit for calling special services. Registration data are recorded into radar unit of transportation vehicle, as well as state number and password, borders of region where the transportation vehicles if found instantly, borders of areas of activity of road signs and changes in signs. Alarm signal is transmitted into stationary point if transportation vehicle violates requirements of road signs or if driver was attacked by violator or transportation was driven away either radar unit of transportation vehicle was switched off from board network. If operation of radar unit is damaged, sonic signal switches on. All radar units and traffic lights operate according to the same time. Radar unit of transportation vehicle is subject to diagnostics from stationary point to determine if it operates properly and if its operation corresponds to registration data. Location of transportation vehicle is found in differential mode in relation to satellite radar receivers mounted in units controlling operation of traffic lights and at stationary post having known coordinates. Violation of road rules can be revealed in contact-free mode, Driven away transportation vehicles can be tracked and stopped. Transportation vehicles with false state registration number can be revealed. Persons being guilty in road accidents can be revealed and identified and special services as ambulance, fire brigade, militia, technical service, agent of insurance company etc., can be called directly from transportation vehicle. Radar unit can be subject to diagnostics.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation; higher reliability of operation.
