FIELD: high voltage equipment engineering, in particular, electric isolation in vacuum, possible use in electronic industry for increasing quality of micro-channel photo-electronic devices.
SUBSTANCE: method for degassing a micro-channel plate includes feeding voltage and letting current through the plate. High voltage impulses of nanosecond duration are used, while amplitude of impulses is increased up to value which does not worsen parameters of plate.
EFFECT: increased efficiency, lower laboriousness due to increased intensiveness and decreased duration of electronic training.
