FIELD: production of components for dibasic solid fuels at improved combustion characteristics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of production of lead dioxide on nitrocellulose fibers for production of fuel composition of ballistite type includes preparation of nitrocellulose suspension in aqueous solution of lead acetate, conducting the lead acetate oxidation reaction by means of sodium hyperchlorite at temperature of 20-80C by adding the solution containing sodium hyperchlorite and caustic soda to suspension at maintaining pH of reaction mass within 4.4-6.0 obtained through regulation of rate of adding the solution; after oxidation reaction, polyacrylamide is introduced at continuous and smooth mixing continued for 10-20 minutes followed by holding for 50-70.
EFFECT: increased yield of lead dioxide settled on nitrocellulose fibers at reduction of losses in technological process; maximum adhesion of lead dioxide to nitrocellulose fibers.
