FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: electric mixer can be used for melting aluminum and its alloys. Electric mixer has metal frame, shaft lined with fire-resistant and heat-resistant materials, removable vault made of units made in turn of mullite-siliceous felt put on inside to mage corrugation, removable suspensions mounted into vault for warming heat members up, which members are made in form of tubes fixed at opposite walls of section heating tubes assembly. Line of heating tube assembly's section is made of mullite-siliceous felt units, put to form corrugation, and of non-burnt mullite-siliceous plates. Removable vault of sections for mounting heating tubes is strengthened by flange connection made in form of flanges disposed in horizontal. One flange is attached to vault of mixer and the other one is attached to frame of mixer. There are sealing plates made of compressed material like mullite-siliceous carton; plates are fixed in shell by pins. Bolts connect flanges. Mixer is also provided with thermocouple mounted in vault and with hydraulic drive having jacks for inclining mixer and adjusting discharge of metal when pouring prepared solution out.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation; reduced costs on mounting, maintenance and service; higher quality of metal due to reduction in its oxidization.
