SUBSTANCE: according to invention, flue gases are directed to gas distributor along gas supply duct. Said gas distributor is arranged inside water cooling tower over water catcher. Flue gases are distributed through guide nozzles inside water cooling tower and moisture contained in air is removed, dry air completely cleaned from moisture is supplied to water cooling tower, and water condensate obtained from air is supplied to bowl of water cooling tower or for chemical water cleaning and other purposes. Device for implementing the proposed method of operation of thermal power station contains gas distributor arranged over water catcher inside water cooling tower and made in form of system of channels of closed section in form of concentric circles with equally spaced fitted-on guide nozzles pointed with outlet holes upwards, air preparation device accommodating fan and moisture separator, air ducts between air preparation device and air inlet ports of water cooling tower, air distributors installed in air inlet ports of water cooling tower, condensate trap with water conduits for technological purposes.
EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced heat and water losses and heat contamination of ambient atmosphere.
