Abstract RU 2309428 C1

FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: method is based upon principle of radiolocation with continuous radiation and periodical frequency modulation of probing signal. According to first version, method includes generation, forming and radiation of probing signal with periodical frequency modulation. Echo-signal is received and mixed with part of selected signal to be generated. Difference frequency signal is amplified by difference frequency signal processing circuit, multiplied by factor being inversely proportional to amplification coefficient of difference frequency signal processing circuit. Multiplied difference frequency signal is formed from difference frequency signal received during total period of modulation; the former corresponds to half period of modulation. Formed multiplied difference frequency signal is multiplied additionally by factor in form of function rising from beginning to end of half period of modulation. Multiplied difference frequency signal is summed, which signal was received during second half period of modulation, with reversed copy of multiplied difference frequency signal, achieved during first half period of modulation. In case parameters of formed multiplied difference frequency signal meets standard parameters, the signal is used for calculation of distance.

EFFECT: lowered error due to reduction in effect of transient processes and noises onto results of measurement.
