FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in making additional, second, measurement of range to searched object. Differential-frequency signal spectra are shaped to have different pattern of main lobe so that difference in measurement results may be calculated to be used, together with a priori data on position and intensity of interfering objects, to correct distance measurement results.
EFFECT: reduced measurement errors.
