FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely production of pellets of iron ore and its agglomerate.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of loading moistened charge by means of conveyer into working space of palletizing unit onto wet charge lining slag; palletizing it for forming layer of pellets and discharging ready pellets out of palletizing unit. Moistened charge is loaded by means of freely suspended flexible elastic pipeline whose inlet end is preliminarily rigidly joined with conveyer and whose outlet end is freely placed onto charge lining slag. In place of loading charge onto lining slag, it is blown out by compressed air flow towards pellet layer while sustaining compressed air flow rate in range 0.1 - 4.0 cub.m per ton of charge.
EFFECT: lowered mass of charge layer stuck to lining slag, improved efficiency of palletizing unit.
