METHOD FOR EVALUATING THE RISK IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF UNFAVORABLE CARDIAC EVENTS IN PATIENTS WITH ACUTE CORONARY SYNDROME WITHOUT ST SEGMENT INCREASE Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A61B5/402

Abstract RU 2312589 C1

FIELD: medicine, cardiology.

SUBSTANCE: a patient should pass electrocardiographic, angiographic testings and biochemical blood trial to detect the degree of the risk of unfavorable coronary events by the following formula: R=eF/(1+eF), where R - the degree of the risk in the development of relapsing stenocardia, myocardial infarction, crib death, e (the foundation of natural logarithm)=2.718, F - the value of function being equal to F=x1+a·x2+b·x3+c·x4+d·x5, where a - the presence of stenosis of coronary artery being above 50% upon angiogram, b - the presence of depression of ST segment together with negative T wave in one ECG lead, c - the presence of affected rhythm, d - the level of troponin T at entering the department of intensive therapy; x1, x2, x3, x4, x5 - the coefficients that have the following values: x1=2.373, x2=1.278, x3=1.177, x4=0.545, x5=0.583. At value R≥0.5 patients should be referred to high-risk category, and at value R<0.5 - to low-risk category in the development of unfavorable cardiac events. The innovation enables to increase the accuracy of prediction due to applying up-to-date techniques of modeling.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and accuracy of evaluation.
